Brother Jon Gary Rick received the degrees of Freemasonry in Consuelo Lodge No. 325, F.&A.M. of California in 2017, and served as Worshipful Master of his mother lodge in 2023. He became a 32° Master of the Royal Secret of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of San Diego, Orient of California, in 2018.

Not content with limiting his Masonic journey to a single Rite, Brother Rick was exalted a Royal Arch Mason and greeted as a Cryptic Mason in 2020. He was knighted in the Magnanimous Order of the Temple (Knights Templar) in 2021, and later knighted in the Order of the Knight Masons in 2023. In recognition of his contributions and commitment, he was invited and initiated into the Red Cross of Constantine in 2023.

His service within the York Rite has included leadership as High Priest of his Royal Arch Chapter (2023) Illustrious Master of his Cryptic Council (2025), as well as currently serving as Captain General of his Commandry.

Brother Rick, continues to serve the craft as the Secretary for his mother lodge, Secretary for his Royal Arch Chapter, and Recorder for his Cryptic Council.

Additionally, he serves both the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of California & the Grand Council of Cryptic Masons of California on various committees for Website, Communications, and Public Relations.

Brother Rick also enjoys membership in the Allied Masonic Degrees, the Royal Order of Scotland, the Grand College of Rites, and the York Rite Sovereign College. He also serves as an Ambassador for the California Masonic Foundation’s Masons4Mitts program, supporting youth and the San Diego Padres Foundation.
